Wet Water

Wet Water

Clark Steven Lupton

May 25, 2009

Water is cool, water is wet

You lose yours when you sweat

Water is useful and is healthy

If you buy Evian then you’re wealthy

I drink water hour after hour

I even drink water when I’m taking a shower

I drink it when I walk far

They’ll give me water if I get hit by a car

I drink water at work and after exercise

It goes to my brain, so I can memorize

I know how to spell December

Because water helps me remember

I wash after I take out the trash

Without water we couldn’t splash

Without water we wouldn’t survive

And without water we couldn’t dive

I use it to wash my hands

I use it to wash my glands

I’m proud of God’s greatest invention

And I’m proud of my water retention

Author's Notes/Comments:

Our bodies are made up mostly of water so I thought this might be worth writing since it's so important in our lives. One last note, without water, Noah would never have gone anywhere in his Ark, Milli Vanilli would never have made their 90's hit song, "Blame it on the Rain" and Evian would be selling expensive bottled air.
