I counted the days
and now
I'm counting the hours
the 17nth to me is
such a wondrous number
closer the time ticks
to that moment of
'Sweet Reunification'
there are no grandiose
words for it
it is simple math
one man
one woman
two hearts
fo(u)r ever
entwined
be careful my love
but please,
please,hurry home...........

Author's Notes/Comments: 

A friend of mine on line was discussing how he missed his girlfriend. She had been away for 6 months on some work project and how eager he was to see her so I wrote this for him. It seemed a bit simple and silly to me but he absolutely raved about it and couldn't wait to send her a copy.  Stay tuned, who knows if she likedit or not.........laughs!
