pride in vision
that is what he brings
passionate exchange
his voice has that
particular ring
chauvinistic streak
to this he freely
admits
cordial and cajoling
the man has the mind
of a free thinking scientist
deeply contemplative
so many issues
he brings to the
conversation's table
innovative and urbane
the man is truly capable
fierce and oh so reliable
cutting edge resourceful
my tribal thug warrior
hearing me say this
gives him a look nearly
mournful
but he knows my kindhearted
nature
and allows me many rights and privileges
over his otherwise austere personage
a blessing in the package of a masculine
firebrand
my spark to his substantial kindling
makes for quite an unforgettable flame.............
