FRACTURED TROUBADOUR

your words rushed to my eyes
like they were some cognitive bourbon

drank from a chipped coffee cup
arsenic plum pudding
uneven going down perhaps
yet such a sweet and shocking surprise
stress laces double tied
hiding the holes in your socks
like grace doubling over in hell
to no harm cometh thy slide rarely
miracles come in bundles
marked mistakes
chivalrous victim
or benevolent rogue du  jour
whatever the what have you
'Fractured Troubadour'
smile now wide for us
with your most triumphant pen
for you oh so roughly got what it takes
over, under, above and in...............

Author's Notes/Comments: 

written for fellow post poems poet raiaquarius after reading umpteen poems of his. His, "love" was smiling was the lynch pin poem that finally knocked over my pitiful poet's heart and pushed it to write this latest poem of my own. sighs............... I think I might even have a wee, tiny poetic crush now! (laughs)
