flesh, that final precious commodity
to procure for the conquest's claim of
unrelenquished love
rose petals collected
for future moments to stitch and glove
astonishing avenues await the eager marauders'
unveiled eyes
detailed maps marked with tear stains amid rainbows
and garnishments of factual surprise
we are those clue gatherers running
wide eyed towards each other
'A Man, A Woman, A Journey'
brought forth to teach a sliver of eternity
via the vehicle of that of a lover.....................
