GROVELING AFTER A CONFUSED LETTER #

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

my dearest abandoned one
off from me you traipse
into some setting sun
where haste the time flown
sugar coatings draped
over grown fears
miserly subjects
turn their angry heads
as a quieter inner peace
graciously appears
onto a porch of
frank misunderstanding
the world we built
teetered
the crawl of your letters
started the sandblasting
now in my heart you offer
no career
you speak of our times twined
and memories consumed
over a matter of short years
twirlest that tiny bonnet
speak your magic through
those rusted fences of regret
walk along those meadow libraries
without me
and enjoy the stages of cliffs
alone but not for the company of
your soul
a dragon fire eating beast
that haunts the inhabitants
now of only his own poems.............

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem was solely inspired by a poem written by fellow post poems David Joel Rodriguez titled '07 Confused Letter' Check it out it was a great poem. Joel, if you happen to read this poem tell me what you think of it as a reply to the poem you wrote for that lady. I poetically tried to channel her I suppose one could admit. Was just there (the poem I mean) I couldn't not write it. Enjoy!
