TOSSING TANTRUMS IN THE MOMENTS

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

splattered disciplines
sadly drip from walls of
old arguments
anger's stale hot air
recirculates
touching old jagged wounds
no clean bandages
can be located anymore
no safe corridor even is left
for either of us to walk down
so much crumpled up debris
of what has always been wrong
between us
we must find the strength to step over
and or around
neither of us are shot put Olympians
training out the hatreds by
'Tossing Tantrums In The Moments'
that gold is long now out of our reach
we settled for bronze long, long ago
and now we must be good sportsmen
and capitulate defeat
you are not a bad man
you just acted like one with me................
