carelessly reproached
from the fractured memories
of an unbalanced teen
from polished collective memory
targeted image
publicly updated
and broached
innocent ingenue
a mere emotional pawn at 19
to glittering marks(wo)man
at 69
appearing so mature and serene
50 years in the making
a book so blighted in its ability
to catalog the somewhat obscene
was it long over do self therapy
or sly cash in on
hit and run fading notoriety
well at least keep one final tidbit
in perspective
the dead will never stand up to tell
their side of this tactless tale's theme............
