TURBULENT STILLNESS ( A TOUCH OF THE MACABRE)

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

call such dark macabre
the black bird's smorgasboard
ere the winding road's lunch
for all things that go
bump in the night
fetid feast even
for
the flying
the lurking
the skulking
all foragers alike
carting themselves
out night after
loathsome night
across the inky
barren pavement
jackpot for the ravenous
if happened upon just
in fortunate time
tipping their evening
with a gift left for the finder
in the careful grip of twilight
'Turbulent Stillness' gutted sublime..........
