A THUNDERSTORM'S SONNET

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

I happened upon you
amid
'A Thunderstorm's Sonnet'
within your wind
I became rain
a glorious spin
of beauty and destruction
we gorgeously entertained
reverent cloud bursts
stormed in fury overhead
while ferocious funnel cones
twisted the atmosphere's bed
the very ground churned
beneath our feet
our intermingling
created a ferocious stir
as centuries of entities
arose to greet us giddily
dormant passions
so long now reigned in
began to suddenly sizzle
in salivating anticipation
forgotten entanglements clasped
reverent were those first few
moments of shared breath
your eyes then spoke to me
in a language all their own
so clear for my own to read
babbling they were
as if in all a rush
of an ancient love
that neither of us now
should let slip away
with but the touch of lips felt
like the gentlest butterfly's kiss
steepled I became like a
praiseworthy church
in the cross beams of
your impressive male arms
we grew passionately stronger
alas
merged as one whole unit
infinitely indivisible
wholly without question
the world still sings to herself
softly of our long awaited union.........
