THE WHISPERS AMONG SUCH TEARS

JOURNAL # 41

between the length of the hour
and the rightness of the rain
misery stands steady to cower
as revisions hold out for the
penance of the pain
abstract reasoning cues up
itself
to die miserably in vain
though somewhat visionary
in the moment's recollection
still
many an ignorance
shouts profane
whether modified or nullified
true revenge holds out for
no real gain
when
'The Whispers Among Such Tears'
cascade for sorrow's regret
to silently drain
their host of any other possible
refrain....................

Author's Notes/Comments:

this poem pretty much wrote itself to/for me. I feel it tells the reader that when all else fails cry at least to relieve yourself of your pain. Tears I have always believed are a sign of strength far more so than a sign of weakness like many have foolishly been taught to believe.
