from this emptiness
'Off A Ledge Deep'
my heart hides and
attempts to sleep
I am not changed
though changing
my circumstances
purposefully are
I still seek the water's grace
and draw I love you's
in dreams around his heart
through despair
we must sort out all the doubt from
nothing's pail
in my mind
your eyes how they glisten
our time is out there
just before
and not just beyond
the veil
teetering on a set of situations
that have yet come to pass
I feel you my love
and I know you are mine
beyond each vision's mass
but blessedly
we've been given this short
gift of time
to meet on this side of heaven
a culmination of creative collaboration
we both were promised
long before our mind's had memories
and the earth was able to recognize
each our very footsteps taken
towards love's ideal haven
watch for me
I am nearest the loveliest blossom
your eyes next happen upon
so trust the breeze
so often she carries to you
my particular lovely scent
for when you smell that
your soul tells you
I am there
and a heaven here for us
upon this earth too
was truly meant....................
