A SUMMER SORT OF SOMETHING *

Folder:
JOURNAL # 40

winter weakly stumbles on
haphazardly shedding his
grim details
a faint grimace of resignation
pulls at the heart of the truly resigned
sad nights meander
after his dream's coat tails
my heart grows earthen clay warm
as I sit back and imagine a
man of such light, living among
all those folds of
the grave grim darkness
benevolent courage
sandwiched and wedged as it were
in and about so many harshly
hued individuals
the collision of values verses
say the collision of seasons
is hardly a stretch for
the monopoly on gentleness
infringed upon by ignorance
and the meaningless pursuits
of heartless greed
quite unbearable at times in
its very overbearing being
harboring in the heart of
such a misplaced man
a notion that in a sense
life is he and he is life
wondering after
'A Summer Sort Of Something'
smiling broadly now upon
another shore
in his winter he knows
the season of true
respect's warmth
awaits him at the deepest
chamber of his heart's core
in the arms and sunshine of
his beloved her's very being
means such love and sunlight
just for him
forever more......................
