'Too Trapped'

upon this earth

seems thee

we are to live upon this planet

for a time

but keep vigil that we are

not of it

our home is of another

realm

where peace and tranquility

co habit with harmonies of

spirit

and rejuvenate our core

with the life restoring energy

that is love

the violence, terror, war

hunger, hatred, fear and bloodshed

they have no real meaning to the soul

other than they are deeply

negative energies wastefully spent

by men and women alike in their fleshed robes

as their distorted egos conspire to reek havoc

on thy fellow man

A Desire is after all but

some vague want of the flesh

the spirit desires for nothing

as peace is indwelling

I read your words

in such a small stanza

and marveled that you

look at such things

in a way that to your spirit

would seem

rather upside down and twisted

so aspire to be more of your spirit

and far less of your flesh and mind's

hungers

look farther and farther inside

and all that you seek

you will find

in more abundance than

grass upon a wilderness meadow

trust me

the love inside our souls

goes on for light years

surpassing even the farthest

depths of space

look deep enough

in thyself

and all the ugliness

will seem so small

compared to all the beauty that

dwells so deep beyond those

shallow boundaries of

each flawed ego that stands

before you in physical form.......................
