ours is

a boundless story

of colliding warm forces

fostered by the magic

of mutual discovery

kindled with

some added enchantment

a strange misdemeanor

of mere acquaintanceship

or so I thought once

but you always knew

beneath the surface of

what was

there lay more

so much more

does that make you a deeper

see er than me

or rather a man far more in tune

with his own destiny

so much love you suspected in me

or was it in yourself and you

projected that off onto me

perhaps you knew

by inner sight that I'd come to

love you back oh so intensely

perhaps my character you found

in the written words

gave you wide open doorways

to peer through

and capture the idea

of a woman you felt you could

love so tenaciously

you honor and envelope me

so fully with your love

you embody dreams

I've had throughout my life

of how a real man

should be

and its those moments

of gentle recall

that make me

love God all the more

for bringing such

a miraculous idea

of a man

into my life

at the precise time

I needed him most

the majesty of God's

wisdom is infinite

and the beauty and

depth of your love

is immeasurable

and you make me

so thankful

that I am
