Prince Abamba's 3rd reply to"MEANDERING THROUGH THE ROMANTICS" (JOURNAL#34)

Care to pen us a row boat

With honor and bent of my knees,

A swift gesture with my hands

Spread wider than my limited understanding

On how to woo, to strike an impression upon thee;

One I commend for such imaginative words.

I hold not a clue to what a muse I am to thee,

Yet I find myself in glee

To have inspired such flawlessness in poetry,

Highly more to  that of Shakespeare's form.

A moment if I may

I pen this verse to say

Once upon a boat.

Frail in structure and strength

Made useful, by you and I

On some sunny day.

There upon this boat, this river, this blessed day..
Your grace

Wrapped in a flowing flowery garment,

as if mended by the winged servant of Alpha

And I, so unworthy, planted adjacent to thee

In awe, in uncontrollable moments of smiles

Look upon thee.

We stroll near the waters with gentle ease

To create the current of the world itself

And all the birds and clouds and all that is all

Came to witness the fortunate me.

To have the pleasure, to have the seat most closest to thee

If only these words were giving breath...

...what a lovely day that would be.......
