MINE ODE TO A HUMBLE WORD SMITH

Folder:
JOURNAL #34

where such seat of pleasure holds court

'tis where ye and thee shall commence

pirating away in acrobatic word sword

we shall parry not to miss

you the reverent Charlemagne

and I the faithful Ghunga Din

troubles to both shall teeter not

for we stumble

over upon our prior foolish selves

only when we quit

that is my gauntlet for you

ere handkerchief

airing out our lovely

most special laundries

but only to each other

bordering on the romantic

we line up our suitor soldiers

to dance their waltz of exchanged wits

slip slapping away as I am upon the

joyful pond of this page

I grin, laugh, titter and near guffaw

at such enjoyments for me

you seem to so easily arrange

for mine truly tempted eyes

you reign

all word smith sensations supreme

so for now

ciao mon bello

for ye be

the dearest daring dream.................
