ONCE UPON A TELLING

Folder:
JOURNAL #14

describe for me if you can

the lion in his den

the one with the eyes of unscarred

jade

gone begging to be a true gem

breath for me if you can

air so crisp it nearly hurts your

lungs as you inhale

walk with me across your bluest ocean

sew into my very fiber your whitest sail

teach me if you can how to love with your

entire being so anxious to be part of a pair

tell me to stay

and I won't once look back

for this exquisite moment is far too precious

to spare

without your gentle guidance

the grass could never long again to be green

yet with your trained vision

the beauty of whats to come

continues to remain to be expected

but not quite yet seen..................
