believe me

the connection between us is indeed quite real

as of it I am certain you possess some sort of feel

feel for me that is

it seems you and I are quite simpatico

whether nearest to the light

or even further a fro

our hearts though they beat separate

still closer and closer they appear to grow

the beauty of our even distanced companionship

fulfills a most specific though all the more

deeply private need

the need that lives to connect and be a part of

another imprisoned soul

one who's self enlightenment

will not another spirit's necessary growth only

further impede

alas, one that looks out just as I am looking in

who could for see where such tentative link

could lead

perhaps to a yet born journey that means far more

to our prospective views than we we each alone

could ever hope to know

do not ask me why though that this is so

but to you alone the virtual essence of the most

natural form of me feels bound, compelled and

determined to flow

I can only pray that your thresholds of understanding

and acceptance are great

for, as I clearly see it

this is but our first of many steps taken in an

intricate fandango

one of which whose path even if only slightly

crossed deems such remote possibility of

discovered grandeur as fate

luck never knew what hit it when I wrote this........
