THE SHOUTING SILENCE

Folder:
JOURNAL #13

in a flutter of worry

down all the petty wants came

disengaging the grace of the spirit

from that of its opposing core

desperate hands to the for front

shouted a silent yet bittersweet

'no more'

and the almost crippling insanity

mutilated her supposed prodigy

unbeknownst to her gullible amour

slipping death like from her hand

to the cold Formica floor

spilling many of her once so well

hidden flaws

onward and upward they say

but for the inward she crawls

as outward melts all

but what for

never known

never sewn

only shifted backwards

and now outgrown

and to a painfully sharp point

is her vile string of contradictions

shown

a once crush disembodied now beyond

recognition

such a pitiful word to apply to she

the initial feeler

but perhaps in so

we somehow manage to come full circle

and learn from the ever so solitary

crisis

and are able once again to pick up

the unharmed pieces as we go.............
