there's something about the rain

it cleanses the emotions

saturates the true essence of the soul

makes one aware of the necessity for living

the deep need one has to feel

feel everything

especially pain

for some unknown reason

its the pain that can make a soul feel truly

most human

expression gauges at the concept of one's

spirituality

yet, we already know what it truly is

sporadic, repetition conjures up the

'Soul's Scripts'

things we can not see nor quite remember

but still we know

the sense is there

deep within

to continue on..........

not necessarily as we were

but as we one day will be

perhaps, when we are not our current

physical selves

but another and another

and more

so another unspoken lesson

is learned

another step gets taken

and God lets us do it all over again

and sometimes some of us love it..........
