THE LEARNED FLAW

Folder:
JOURNAL #19

boredom's hunger

a cracked jot contradiction

in such vague yet expressive terms

though further contribution

to such misleading claim

would seem

why, almost too graphic

to the disbeliever

within even the most modest

circumstance of raised excitement

as most men begin to cringe

when others start to yearn

its like a 'Learned Flaw'

you see

attributed to the far too distanced

human spirit

a deliberate dampening of one's

universal core for compassion

could be admitted to here

where strengths and weaknesses of

mankind converge

to sit in such flawed judgment

what here in the human sphere

always seems to be repeatedly

about self

himself

herself

yourself

and all too predictably enough

the ever so very dreaded

myself

the me, me, me generation grows

almost frantically so

yet

nowhere in the complex mysteries

of mankind

will one find the arrogant eager

wants of self

not in the word anyway

mankind

its simple really

man should always be to his fellow man

kind

as it is

and always has been

as will always ever be

the nature of his soul

and ever more

reside in the very word

itself

many could

(and very well should!)

learn much from this............
