money is in the pocket

the eye remains in its socket

Tubbs is once again without Crockett

when the music blares

kids love to rock it

for some

the shelf of life looks empty

no matter how often one tends to stock it

when a memory is just too real

we tend to all too conveniently block it

nearly all the mentioned above

are but numerous variations of defense

mechanisms designed by the fashioned

just so mind

to aid one in coping with the up and down

surges of every day life

its naught more than

cheap parlor tricks for the psyche

Freudian tantrums even

best when left ignored.............
