to say so little
yet convey so much
the smile was an insult
to your other grim features
in the witnessed conflict
there is a lot to be gleamed
from such set facial expression
do you feel no pain at all
such airless eyes that drink up so
much emptiness
tell far more interesting stories
than those they try to hide
and yet they still continue today
for you to truly feel anything
would likely shatter
such icy illusion
I carry in my mind
as this mask you wear
called all too sadly enough
your face
gives no clue away
tell me
who did this to you...............
