THE LOVER'S CONFESSION

Folder:
JOURNAL #20

he said

you write so eloquently

you rip the very heart

right out of a man

only to then so sweetly kiss it

and gently put it back

its downright vulgar

you know my girl

I only laughed and laughed

as I kissed each of his work

roughened hands

as I made much heated love to him

from across the table with my eyes

tenderly he smiled and said

now wouldn't Paris this time of year

together be so grand

with a grin as sly as a Texas steer

I said perhaps

and our love made it so.................
