A LAUGHING SURPRISE

Folder:
JOURNAL #32

you're gorgeous to chat with
a delightful compliment to me he paid
made the sunny side of my soul filled self
shine a wee bit brighter if that could be believed
John, a distinguished young Englishman
so attentive while attaching his clever heart to my
lovely lady like sleeve
amazing what a lop sided grin and such sweet shy eyes
can do for a moment's mind to retrieve
he has me thinking near a big fat sea
was it the Scottish coast he mentioned
that lovers would be glad to meet
yes I do think so
can almost see him walking there
near a bed and breakfast by a cliff
in tan damp ankled trousers
with the tide chasing his feet
an off white bulky sweater beneath
a windbreaker of the brightest electric blue
hugging his tall wind blocking physique
can see it in my romantic's mind
if I look really deep
can almost feel the chill of his ocean salty lips
as they warm to my welcome kiss
the grin that would play around the edges
of his masculine wide sensuous lips
as he would pull me in closer to his
anchored hips
I am 'A Laughing Surprise'
he was not expecting this
me that is
to be there
to greet him upon his return from such
a solitary stint
the stormy sky watching over the ocean's
churning tide
John lighting up
like a beacon outward from within
running towards me
laughing like a very happy happy man
you came! he whispers pulling me
hard to him
of course I laugh my face this close
to his chin
I couldn't leave you all alone up here
now could I?
beneath his bulky sweater my hands burrow up
to tickle his bare ribs
ultra lovely bait they would surely be
all those alluring lasses with their cold perky nibs
to tempt and lure you in
I couldn't allow that
not when I was invited along with not a one of them
lovelies in mind to wallow with you in this
beautiful place of frosty paradise so made for sin
at long last we begin kissing
as John sighs alright dear Mel,
I am yours, I always was so you win
and in my mind I sigh ah John you have no idea
what pleasures I have planned to further do you in...

Author's Notes/Comments:

written as a birthday present for my English chat pal John as he revealed he had
never had a romantic weekend away with a woman so I gave him one the only
way I could and he went absolutely bonkers over it when he read it.
