can you call someone a friend

even though you don't even know his name

even though you've seen him on a regular basis

almost every day

and you talk to each other about the important things

like personal history and past misinterpreted expectations

besides all the disappointing experiences that have left

their little marks upon your ageless soul

mine too!

we are more alike than you know

despite the differences in back ground and one complete

generation gap

for time tells only the truth where the possibility of love is

concerned and each individual is not responsible for feelings

that can not always be returned..........
