from the ashes of the recent yester months

through the overbearing nets of division

and amid the gut churning turmoil

that has become the America of today's landscape

a fresh face of mixed but handsome heritage

emerges

a shining personal account of what America can really be

when she sets out to right her course

a prominent citizen for the country to emulate

and behold

though self groomed to his prominence

from the patch work collage of his humbled

beginnings

and yet in many ways

almost KENNEDY ESQUE in his stance

so hope filled in his shimmering out look

( like a leader born)

often as forward thinking

as he is solid and stead fast

in his purpose

that America feels her pull to his corner

of the voting ring

while tomorrow shouts back at the hoarse whispers

of history gasping in its own doubt, blood and

disbelief

do for this one man and AMERICA herself

an example of justice for all

allow him the margin and the privilege

he needs to lead her out of darkness and fear

and well into the glory of her next great

horizon

far from all the tar and feathers of the deceptive

actors before

such sludge in the ditch need not follow

but be swept away with such great shoulders of

character from the porch and front side walk

of Old America's politics

I say why not let Obama be the man

to command

for the nation

such said sweeping.............
