THE SELFLESS GIFT OF EDISON

Folder:
JOURNAL#8

he was a great man of his innocent time

for all the good he did

he made  early twentieth century darkness a thing of

the recent past

and on man-made light he was able to place a lid

now, we can have light whenever we like just as long as

we pay its bill

all because of fine, young Mr. Edison's hard work

and toil concerning a goal he wished to fulfill

when he passed on, nearly all the world in respect and

memory of him turned out a light

as a polite form of thank you and one final parting

goodnight..................
