to a very nice young man whose just a little

misguided

my instincts concerning such matters

well on that subject myself I often have prided

though in your young lover's heart I have not long

resided

try to believe those feelings you have are not

completely one sided

I was greatly discontent until our lonely hearts

collided

I am glad that into my poet's heart your sweet spirit

has alas alighted

giving you too a sense of loving completeness and

warmth knowing you are welcomed and invited

this feels good really good like when a man is long

since blinded then is given the gift of being sighted

in other more direct words what was missing or wrong

in our hearts

with this poem I now hope it, I have righted.....
