I want you to remember me forever as I am right now

not how I will likely be tomorrow

if only this moment you will concede to allow

you could give yourself a chance to remember my love

without pity or sorrow

an unlikely linking of happiness and horror

you would be quick to verbalize and argue

even though I've forced your hand to admit as of now

we are done with and through

it would be pointless to banter with such love filled

and hate less hearts on the rising issue

but I hold no other option to guide me into what it is

I should or should not do

I've made my decision so now

please leave me before my brittle life finds

the death it needs to make me leave you............
