so brave and rich in promise

mine eyes grow soft

at the thought of

what they individually must risk

vibrant young lives

trained to be

a rare breed of fighting man

patriotism plays such a

prominent part in their day to day

united we stand

a motto to the 'Soldiering Americans'

that must certainly run deep

in their patriotic veins

in hushed awe of their bravery's grace

that God always keep with them

in their multiple deployments abroad........
