THIS MOMENT UNTURNED

JOURNAL#30

arrest this moment

unturned

the very pinnacle when you expressed your

most silent regard

a song out of tune suddenly became I

not just any orchestra could play this

altered haunting melody of mine

yet love can speak in a tangled verse

a giddy gull twas I

to hark your fondness at the heels of a most

sensitive departure's admittance

you posed for me a problem that I could not

deny

you're too far yet too close

I am loved and dismissed in one ponderous

post

so in  my own standing I must compose

I have no reply

you are sweetness in great gulps of breath

in a cloak of cleverness skulking by

two ships that pass in the night

I think not really

the situation itself doth protest

more so are we

two 747's making emergency landings

at Heath Row

happy to be back on land again

yet thankful to see an alike face

someone to empathize with and share the hell

of say the hour before

but grateful when the time comes to separate

their space

we are in some strange lovely manner indeed

a cosmic pair

just not one fully recognizable to us

with me making my way here and you teaching all

the physics up  all the way over there

our treasures are these words we share

unbeknownst to the bustling world

for you I truly do most care............
