PURPOSE AND POINT

Folder:
JOURNAL #9

there's an age old mystery held by time's wisely

tempered hand

that simply states, of its inner workings man must

never be allowed to fully understand

for such forthright knowledge could invariably destroy

him and his fellow man with his selfish shallow deed

he does not need to know now or ever how to leap into

the extended problems of the future

for the success of his yet to be born grandchildren

would only suffer from

such omnipotent greed

in one form or another they would each dearly have to pay

possibly even with their own innocent lives

so no one of our time ever need know the describable way

for the continuum of time unlike everything else

upon us

constantly arrives............

Author's Notes/Comments:

why we don't need to venture into the future and why it would not be very wise to do so even if we could.
