the glass is half full
yes
but of good wine
with you , such moments are never long lost
these palpable little victories
order their own dinners at the table of sublime
your very spirit, why, I feel I could almost brush
if in mentally passing I were to so much as try
such simple pageantry our meetings merely are
a fine display of familiar trust
calm waters of troubled frenzy
realize intimately the borders they must cross
it is 'A Fine Achievement'
for two individuals to meet in such a way
and at a profound level, to truly hit it off
we share conscripted laughs and grins
the happiness each soul for the other spins
along side like God's own veritable nod to us
all this having been so openly said
note, that I am truly honored to know this latest
incantation of you and all the reflections of
your joi de viv you've shared
as well as where such wealthy sharing indeed
have lead
to a better understanding of myself, of you
and of my fellow man..............
