you come into my life and turn it upside down

then you walk right back out without so much as a sound

with no warning no apology nor any sort of sarcastic thanks

Just a bunch of doused hopes and loveless cranks

kicks that's what you had with me

but soon you'll come back and with a few well chosen words on your part

with absolutely no regard to the general powers that be

I'll be back in your fateful arms and raring to start

just once again that is what I pray

perhaps because I love you so much that I'm willing to take you in any way

I look forward to your throaty laugh your  radiant smile

and boyish grin

when I see all the good things in you

I forget just how bad it has been

my heart would simply be empty without you there

you take the chill out of the night's air

to have you in my bed once again is all I can think of

to the great need in me you represent  warmth security happiness and love

why just being loved by you is my absolute greatest joy

you are my lover my soul mate my man and my most

cherished boy

such a special bond if felt as deeply by both

could be vital

hones and open wide

and with that in its proper place

our elemental physical pleasure would never subside

so I go with the tide.............
