meeting someone like you



you  are a coat that has been tried on



but once in the store



but never truly worn



not even for a minute



and of this



you are wholely aware



this makes you wiser than



evolution itself



a physical packaging  of emotional expendatures



that never cheated the company of self



there are magnets in your unsuppressable interest in me



that pull the gunmetal  of my rigorous pen to your tender



leaning nature



I relish future episodic entwinings between our shared  enamored



regards for  poetry



mutual mysteries at last  unwoven



for a franker sharing of truth



and a finer view of the full essence beneath our worldly masks



that we must wear



I believe



unbeknownst to you



that we walk through this dirty globe alike



two unfathomable journeymen



enjoying the trip far more than the destination



others have only alluded to



a destination deep down inside



that we already know so personally



but just are here now



back tracking



so to better enjoy



the process of getting there



that my friend



in the flesh



of just a poem



is you and I



wind and fog just rolling along



here in lies



that grandiose feeling



of enchanted appeal



de ja vu



only this time its reversed.............
