THE CALM OF SUCH TREMBLE

Folder:
JOURNAL#24

the calm of such tremble

bespeaks so much care

gladness

she climbs her mighty perch

with her heart everywhere

the rose of the beloved muse

she holds tightly between her

teeth

like

I speak in no riddles

when I hold you dear

I bloom in your unconditional

heat

hope offers peace to even time

thats so out of reach

when you stand so far but near

your beautiful emphatic heartbeat

pounds so strongly against my ever

listening ear

I have you

this I know

even though I truly don't

to some that would seem so very

queer

but not to us

for we are ruled

by an inner lightning veneer

that shines outward forth

making known

what is

right

true

solid

and clear

LOVE

for you

for me

for all that can read

beyond this poem here

why now,

I believe I could love you

even if you didn't really

exist

but know that I would rather

have you real

alive and breathing

of this same giddiness that I

feel

as you are ( and always shall be)

a true gem found

in my darkest hour of guess

and I do love you so

I openly confess......
