with eyes so vividly green

and skin

ever thus

so softly pale and scented warm

having not every been

the most beautiful girl

you've ever seen

still such said face mentioned

left some lasting impression

upon many an unsuspecting

nameless male

this little bit of baleful bravado

to you

I feel such a cornered crying need

in my very being to confess

there for

some small part of my shattered

self worth

though until now

quite unknowingly to me

must have been retrieved

but perhaps

for some lover I refuse to

remember

and one precious worth saying

moment I may never be able to fully

share

these very pages

forever remain
