THE ROCHESTER REVIEW (yes, again!)

Folder:
JOURNAL #19

you dearest sir

standing there

ever so clever

in your blank dark hooded stare

and at my worrisome personage

no less

a man of complexity and reason

whose eyes positively blare

how dare ye care?

I, your freshest temptation

say, fear not this mouse

she sees in you all and more

that you even dare to arouse

a particular passion

pleasure's own sweet source of

deviled amusement

a random scolding of one's choice

left ye with such a dark decision

a lie in exchange for supreme

togetherness

or the cold, embittered truth

that begets such sadness and

unique solitude

why, it was easier than a child's laugh

to fully know just which you in your

singular agony of spirit would choose

you poor , beautifully hideous man

don't you know that I would love you too

without any care at all for society's foul

opinion

I beg you

beseech me then to do so

and your joy shall not go unrivaled

I Love You Edward

frightfully so in fact

you see your wildly snapping eyes have

been telling a good many tales on your

precious dear heart

I see the half starved lover

beneath the vague enigmatic Sphinx's ruse

but note

that terribly tempered black hearted vulcans

are at a premium these days

at least in my restless wondering thoughts

of you......................
