let love rule

we need it to

so very badly

not vanity

not pride

nor greed

and hatred

of those who's ideas

and selves are so very

different from our very

own

but the understanding that flows

from the warm arms of love's sweet

all encompassing embrace

in the end

our ability to bend

will be what shapes

our own outcome

in our time

how much give

each man has in his heart

depends on

how much darkness

he submerges

his own soul in

and how much

he allows

that same soul

the freedom to dance

in the light

so come.....

grow with me

in the light

and when you feel

strong enough

hold out your hand

and ask the rest of the world

to dance with you.....
