It’s not just about having

It’s not just about having

A computer

It’s not just

About being on

The net with

my

Friends.

And being

Able to chat

Back and fourth

On a daily basics

As much as you want.

You see as most of

You I’m in a wheelchair

Because I have cp

It’s effected my hands

I can’t write with a pen

If I do it’s looks all messy

It’s hard to make out what

Lies in between.

That’s why

When my computer

Is out of commission

I feel like apart of me is

Missing. I’m not able

To communicate with

Friends who live far

Way at college

I miss them

Because I

Can’t chat

With them.

I write poetry

As you might’ve

Noticed can’t

Say what I’m feeling when

Computer is out of

Commission so

What I’m saying

Having a computer

Is more then just

Having the internet to me

It’s about opening doors to

The outside world for me

You see?

great piece Lory, suggestion, try some how to get a handheld cassette recorder for times when computer is down or perhaps you wake in middle of night and just want to jot ideas for a piece and don't have paper handy to do so..
