I’m shocked at the outcome of today.
I went to the doctor for a checkup
And she ask me all kind of questions
About my family history and
Everything which is a
Pretty normal thing
So I’m thinking okay.
Then she checked
My blood presure and
She said my BP was
High high enough
I needed to be on
Meds to bring
Down. But
The thing I’m happy
About is that
She didn’t say
I was over weight
I’ve always dreamed
Of not hearing those words
You’re over weight and finally it
Happened today!

I am glad you finally heard the words you had been waiting to hear for a while. Comgratulations! That must have felt so good!
Bp can be elevated for many reasons, wgt,meds you're already on,hormones,cholesterol etc. Too many too mention but those are a few. Don't feel bad about being on bp meds, they do help. My pressure been normal for over 10yrs thanks to them.Am glad to hear they didn't say you were overweight. That's always a good thing to hear..
