I must say
I was kind of
Nervous
When I ask to
A poem for
Somebody who
Is about to go overseas
For a year of his life.
I truly didn’t know what
To write? Or where to start?
So I just wrote what was in
My heart! As I was writing
I said myself what can you
Say about somebody that’s
About to serve his country
For a year his life knowing
He may not come back
Thanks the poem I
Wrote turned out okay I
Just hope and pray he
Comes back home to his
Family safe!
