I saw into the heavens this night



And saw two bright stars



Shining with a light never seen by



man before this day









And I lost my soul to those two



bright stars



Shining in the heavens so



far away



And I reached out to touch



the gift of God



That sight of a lifetime



That gift one gets but once









And as I reached out to touch



with tender love the gift



of God



Those two bright stars blinked upon



their heavenly bed



And you got up



And you moved away









And I waited for the light of



a thousand stars to focus on my soul



once more



And my heart was lost to this night



of stars



But you got up, and you



moved away
