Wild Nights

I write about one girl, one night,

That night when everything fealt right.

That wild night, your bed was shook,

That night, a precious gift I took.

That wild night, I let you down,

When we did more than 'fool around'.

I let my feelings take the wheel,

Was not true love that we did feel.

I know I should have tried to fight,

My hormones on that wild night.

We knew wrong, and we knew right,

That didn't stop that wild night.

It seemed to be so right to me,

But now so wrong, I finally see.

Regret what we did, that wild night,

That night, my guilt reached a new height.

So now I lay me down to sleep,

Our purity, we did not keep.

That wild night, I gave you mine,

No innocence, for me, I find.
