Good morning
good morning to you,
hope you had a good nights sleep,
I woke up this morning,
and my heart it did weep.
For you were not there,
your beautiful face for me to see,
it was just emptiness
laying next to me.
But I know you're there
in my heart and thoughts, it's true
and maybe one day
I'll be next to you.
Such a day would be great
oh grand it would be too
but then may come a time
I'd have to go away from you.
I don't know if I could
I merely know I should
because it is not time
for our heartbeats to rhyme.
So I will drive away
it's the hardest thing I'll do
all the while wanting
to be back together with you.
