Lost in the memory

Lost love can be the most painful of regrets
Nothing makes since and nothing feels right
And so when I find peace of mind 
Free my soul to fly away, above the stars I shine away
Longing for that yesterday 
When the world crashes in around you
Find that one place you feel safe
Because no place on earth
Will ever be the same again.
No matter how hard you try
No matter how much you cry
Things change, life moves forward
Trapped in the dream, lost in the memory
Driving you crazy and complicating your life
The past is gone and lost forever
Finding the path to a new beginning
Hard as it is makes things a new
No matter the outcome don’t lose you.
