I Miss You, Donkerman



No email checks to say hello,

No lovely hints for me.

No one to tell when I mess up,

In graphic misery.



No one to give a thought to me

When I am down and low,

My email buddy has been sick.

And my!  I miss him so!



So gentle is his nature that

I feel quite calm, at ease.

If I should ask for website help,

I only need say, "Please."



His giving heart and caring soul,

Have brought to all a friend.

Oh, please get well.

We miss you sore,

We need you, Aussie man.

Our friend Donkerman who has a portfolio here on PostPoems as well as a graphics help website is seriously ill.  As I write this his family is at his bedside and he needs your prayers.  Please keep Donkerman in mind when you pray.  http://www.donkerman.com is his site.  He is a caring and generous person who helps many people with their web pages free of charge.  Although we have never met, I consider him my friend.

Dear Jessica

This is so special and so touching it brought tears to my eyes...I know that he considered you a friend as well and would thank you in time for this dear tribute! Thanks for you prayers and support in this difficult time - I will send this poem to his family.

May God keep him and all of us in the palm of His hand.
