Cyclops425

                            CYCLOPS425

C arefully I open the mailbox to see what is inside.

Y ou never know what to expect from my sweet Jim.

C an’t even imagine life without his letters and his mail,

L onely was the word for me before I met him.

O,I know he teases and tries to make me feel frustrated,

P laying a game with me to watch me blow my top.

S taying far enough away that I can’t grasp his sneaky neck,

4 ever making me happy, Jim, please don’t stop.

2 kind and gentle to ever hurt my feelings—he listens

5 times out of six he easily reads my mind.

I don’t know what I ever did to make me deserve My Jim,

But he’s the kindest man I ever hope to find.

I love you, Jessica

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this before we ever met, when we were emailing and you wanted to buy a painting.  We were fast friends from the start.  Now we have more.

Jess, You are so fortunate to be able to express your true feelings through your tremendous talent. Each poem I read is better than the last. Your words make me feel good. I don't know what else I can say. Later, Joyce/Spanky

Jessica,
Cyclops may have one eye, but he never missed anything.
Jim may have two eyes, but he knows that your world is his to share and his worls is yours. Have fun, enjoy, and never let the fire destroy that eye. Linda
